This page brings together the practical information for buying a Golden Birds print directly from the studio: fine-art production in the Netherlands, VAT, EU delivery, returns and consumer rights.
Online ordering
The complete Golden Birds Standard collection is now available for direct EU checkout.
All four Golden Birds works and all four Standard variants can be ordered from the English artwork pages for delivery to 26 eligible EU countries. The Netherlands is excluded from these EU links because Dutch orders use the separate Netherlands checkout. Direct checkout outside the EU is not active yet.
Karrenbelt Collective is the seller. Current EU checkout applies 21% Dutch VAT under the verified under-threshold treatment. FedEx delivery is added as a fixed studio contribution: €29 for Standard EU variants and €49 for A2 Fine Art Paper.
Production
Fine-art production in the Netherlands.
Re-Art in Almere produces the Golden Birds fine-art editions for the studio. Current production timing has been confirmed directly by the production partner.
Canvas
Lyve Canvas with matte UV topcoat, supplied loose and unstretched, rolled for transport. Production including coating normally takes 3–5 working days before dispatch.
Collector Edition
A2 on Hahnemühle Photo Rag 308 gsm, limited to 25 numbered copies per work plus a maximum of 2 Artist Proofs, with Certified Art Giclée™ documentation. Collector-specific proofing and signing remain separate from the Standard checkout route.
Delivery
Netherlands and European Union delivery.
Dutch orders use the Netherlands checkout and PostNL. EU orders from the English artwork pages use FedEx to the 26 eligible EU destination countries. Karrenbelt Collective remains responsible for loss or damage during the outbound shipment until you, or a recipient you designate, receive the work.
- Netherlands delivery is included in the published Golden Birds Standard price and is dispatched via PostNL with track & trace.
- EU delivery uses FedEx to 26 eligible EU countries; the Netherlands is excluded from the EU Payment Links.
- The EU delivery contribution shown before checkout is €29, except A2 Fine Art Paper, which is €49.
- Packaging is neutral and unbranded. Re-Art appears as sender on the shipping label.
- Karrenbelt Collective remains responsible for the outbound shipment until the work is received.
- Visible transport damage should be reported as soon as possible, preferably within 48 hours, with photos of the outer packaging, inner packaging and damaged print. This preferred reporting window does not affect statutory rights.

What you will see before you pay.
Before you complete an order, you will see the seller, the artwork price including the current VAT treatment, the exact delivery contribution or included Netherlands delivery, the production timing and your return rights.

Price & tax
Golden Birds Standard prices include 21% Dutch VAT under the current verified EU under-threshold treatment. Netherlands delivery is included; EU checkout adds the disclosed FedEx contribution of €29, or €49 for A2 Fine Art Paper.
Production & delivery
Fine Art Paper normally requires 1–3 working days production and coated Canvas 3–5 working days before dispatch. Netherlands delivery is via PostNL; eligible EU delivery is via FedEx.
Consumer rights
For consumer orders covered by the statutory right of withdrawal, the cooling-off period is 14 days after delivery. The predefined Golden Birds choices for artwork, material and format do not remove this right. The model withdrawal form and online withdrawal option are available on this website.
Returns & withdrawal
14-day cooling-off period and returns.
If your direct online purchase is covered by the statutory right of withdrawal, you can withdraw within 14 days after delivery without giving a reason. After withdrawal, the work must be returned within 14 days to Karrenbelt Collective in Ede. You arrange and pay the direct cost of an ordinary return yourself; the actual cost depends on the carrier and service you choose.
Do not send a damaged, incorrect or defective order back without contacting us first. Report transport damage as soon as possible and preferably within 48 hours with clear photos of the print and packaging; we will coordinate the solution and any required return at our cost. The 48-hour request supports the carrier claim process and does not limit your statutory rights. Refunds following a valid withdrawal are handled under the statutory conditions and the consumer-rights policy published on this website.
